RGSS students are encouraged to participate in interscholastic athletics. Competitive sport opportunities complement and enhance a student’s learning at school. Athletes are required to pay a team fee to participate on a team. Teams are determined by student interest and the availability of volunteer coaches.
RGSS students compete in the York Region Athletic Association against schools from across York Region. Competition occurs in two age classifications: Junior (grades 9 & 10) and Senior (grades 11 and 12.)
